M2M Communication

M2M is machine to machine Communication without human intervention. M2M has been used throughout the decades as the standard technology in telemetry even before the invention of the Internet itself, as it involved an interaction between two or more machines without human intervention. Nascent stage M2M typically relies on communication provided via either cellular or wired networks.

Recently M2M communication is changing so that it could be easily culminate into IoT. It combines the information technology with machine data communication between devices or machines.

The future is already in the making for the M2M communication over the various networks via several low powered medium such as LoWPAN, ZigBee, Bluetooth (Bluetooth Low Energy) ,Then it will be easy to measure and manage the system parameters and capability by connecting production environment to the Internet or Intranet, hence will achieve the advantages of IoT.
